Basic RiderCourse 2
Skills Improvement
(BRC2)

This training is to improve your skills on your motorcycle. If you’ve been riding for some time, there’s always something new to learn. If you recently learned how to ride there's deficiently more to add to your skills. As a newer rider this course is a fun and safe way to improve your skills.  

 

This is a great opportunity to focus on the task of motorcycling for a safe and enjoyable ride!

IMPORTANT: You must have your motorcycle license/endorsement and your own bike to take the BRC2 training.

What To Expect

The Basic RiderCourse 2 Skills Improvement (BRC2) known as the Experienced RiderCourse is a half-day motorcycle training class for experienced riders that already have their motorcycle endorsement. The class is range only (no classroom) and includes about 6 hours of hands-on riding exercises. Using your own motorcycle, you’ll practice techniques for managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering, swerving and more.

Must Wear Protective Gear 

For your safety during this training you must wear protective gear​

​

  • DOT approved helmet and eye protection

  • Sturdy long pants/jeans (no rips)

  • Sturdy, over-the-ankle boots (no sneakers)

  • Long sleeved shirt or jacket

  • Full fingered gloves 

  • If necessary, rain-gear

​The motorcycle needs to be able to pass an inspection:

  • Motorcycle needs to be street legal

  • Tires are in good condition

  • All braking systems work

  • Brake pads are sufficient

  • Chain is not loose or rusted

  • Wheels are not bent or cracked

  • No physical damage that could cause an accident
